What would you say to a smaller version of you? What advice would you give to your child self?

‘I hope that when you grow up, your friends are all hilarious. And they make good jokes, that make you want to pee your pant, and your sides ache.’

This storybook started life as a social media post! I asked all my grown-up friends what advice they would give their smaller selves and the replies and responses came rolling in, then I turned them all into a poem.

My two nephews Solly (10) and Ché (12) are fantastic artists, so I asked them to illustrate it. Here’s what we made. A delightful story for young and old alike.
